Studio Floor Art was born from an idea to create a gallery of colourful abstract art. Brightening up peoples homes and spaces with pops of colour, creating backdrops of colour in a room where decorating with colour may not be possible. A way of introducing affordble bold design where the decor is simple.
'I find old walls really interesting, the spaces where posters have been, the new layers on top of older layers. I love looking at eroded paint on street lamps that show the old colour underneath. The floor of an art studio, with years of mistakes and paint drips etched into the floor forever. The imperfectness of it all.
I also am obsessed with colour, and how colour can lift a mood instantly, aid relaxation and boost energy. This is something I am passionate about and if there is a way that my art could benefit people in more ways than aesthetically, I'm all for it.'
